Conventional

Kidde's Conventional Detection and Alarm System is represented by the Aegis line. It is a low-cost, versatile single-area control unit that can monitor a fire suppression system. The panel allows for the combination of detectors and contact-type devices on the same initiating circuit, simplifying and reducing installation costs. Up to fifteen devices can be connected to each circuit.

Conventional Smoke Detector Model PSD 7155
Conventional Smoke Detector Model PSD 7155
The PSD 7155 smoke detector is used to detect fires in their early stages, when the fire is still small and fully controllable. It is suitable for use in areas where wood, paper, plastics, electrical materials, synthetic materials, flammable liquids, fabrics, and other materials that release smoke at the onset of combustion are involved.
Conventional Thermal Detector Model S60
Conventional Thermal Detector Model S60
The Series 60 thermovelocimetric thermal detector triggers a fire alarm when the ambient temperature reaches 60°C, or if the ambient temperature rises at a very high rate. It features a pair of thermistors that electronically detect this sudden change, and when a reestablished temperature rise rate is reached, the fire alarm is triggered. The detector is unaffected by humidity, barometric pressure, or airflow. It is reliable and easy to install.
