High Sensitivity (HSSD)

The High Sensitivity System represents the latest generation in smoke detection, the Analaser II System uses a laser and an ultra-sensitive, fast-acting photodiode to detect individual combustion particles with densities as low as 0.01% obscuration per meter, a sensitivity up to 1,000 times higher than that of conventional photoelectric or ionic smoke detectors.

The AnaLASER II Power Supply Module provides supervised 24 VDC power with 24 hours of runtime for AnaLASER II detectors. It accepts either 120 VAC or 240 VAC input power and does not require manual power selection to operate on either range.The AnaLASER II Power Supply Module consists of a cabinet with a power supply/battery charger and two 12 V, 33 Ah sealed lead-acid batteries.

The AnaLASER II Addressable Module (AIM) is an intelligent loop device that allows an AnaLASER II high-sensitivity smoke detector to be directly connected to the FenwalNET 2000 RX/TX addressable loop. The AIM gives greater flexibility in installing high-sensitivity smoke detectors by providing detector data to the FN2000 fire alarm panel.

It is ideal for applications where a user needs to access detailed detector status information and perform basic detector control functions without the use of a computer.

Principle An aspirator collects air samples from the protected area through a tube system consisting of one or two 25 mm sampling tubes. The air passes through a dust separator before entering the detector chamber(s), equipped with an optical smoke detector in each tube.
