Pre-Action System

The Kidde Pre-Action System provides an effective detection system combined with a fire suppression system, which is only activated by two distinct detector signals. When a detection element (electrical) is activated, the system is relieved, releasing water into the downstream line. At this point, the alarm pressure switch signals the fire. Even with the release of water flow through the valve, water dispersion will only occur after the sprinkler system is activated.
