Off-Road Vehicle Protection

KVS Systems are pre-engineered assemblies that use fixed ABC powder components and diffusers for applications in vehicles or off-road machinery operating in high-temperature conditions. For each vehicle, KVS Systems consist of the following main components: actuator cylinders, lateral and conical diffusers, and a monoammonium phosphate dry chemical powder cylinder.

Since vehicles must, by necessity, carry a combination of highly combustible fluids (fuel, oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, etc.) and ignition sources (turbochargers, ultra-high temperature exhaust gases, friction brakes, sparks from metal-to-metal friction, batteries and electrical circuits), the danger of fire is ever-present.
